Out with the old, in with the new. We're replacing our old Guestbook page with a much more powerful and user friendly setup. We think you'll enjoy all of the features that the new Discussion Board has to offer.
Unlike the old system, you will be required to register with the new Guestbook system, and you'll need to log in to access the Board and post messages, but you can easily choose to be logged in automatically each time you visit. Its quick, easy, and relatively painless. And if you need help, Eric Lowen has 5 ten year-olds that can handle TechSupport!!! We will have a small section setup for random and anonymous postings and for anyone that doesnt want to register.
Why are we requiring registration?
As many of you know, we had problems with the old Discussion Board with anonymous users posting inappropriate messages, links to inappropriate sites, etc. Because the new system requires e-mail validation as part of the registration process, if a user behaves in an inappropriate manner, we can ban that user permanently. Or perhaps just give them a little slap on the wrist and tell then not to be naughty again. You'll even have the option of reporting inappropriate messages when/if you see one.
Also, by registering, you can choose to be automatically notified when another user responds to one of your posts. You can also create and participate in polls. And send Private Messages!
There are many more positive reasons for this change, but instead of listing them all here, why not just sit tight and wait for the new Board?!

Rest assured that the information you provide as part of your registration will not be used in any way outside the realm of the Discussion Board. It will not be sold, rented, lent, or otherwise shared with any third party, nor will you be added to any mailing lists. We already have an email list for hassling y'all!!
