Lowen & Navarro Fan Club To Cease Operations in 2007

We are sad to report that, after 15 years, the Lowen Navarro Fanclub will no longer take new memberships or renewals, and is officially closed, effective January 1, 2007.

There are many reasons for this change. First, when the club was established in 1992, the Internet had yet to become a driving force in our communications and marketing efforts. Where shows were once announced via postcard mailing all over the country, we now maintain an active website, utilize MySpace and send direct e-mail to fans.

Secondly, as tourng becomes more and more challenging for us, we find ourseves strapped for time and energy. Delays in delivering benefit items included with membership -- photos, logo merchandise and our annual CD collection of rarities, curios and blackmail material -- have been pushing things later and later, with last year's 2006 Edition still not done, one full year behind schedule.

So we have decided to suspend operations and focus our energies on the website and getting caught up. We still plan on issuing occasional music curio collections and other merchandise offers, but they will be available to all, not just fanclub members. And the 2006 CD collection, well, it's nearly done.

We wish to thank all three of our fanclub organizers over the years -- Sue Dick, Margaret Allen and Sara Luongo -- for their tireless efforts to keep L&N in the hearts and minds of all of you. It's been a long road, but it wouldn't have been as much fun without them, or you.
