![]() In July 2007 we began recording a new album, our sixth of new original material and our eleventh overall, and as of late March, we're nearly done with principle recording. Coming full circle, we've reunited with our first producer Jim Scott, who is quite the Grammy-winner since making "Walking On A Wire" over 18 years ago. We returned to writing together in the same room at the same time, which had been a rarity since 1999. We've stubbornly continued saying what we feel as we feel it, with no concessions to the commercial marketplace. We're thrilled with the outcome. Titles include recent concert staples "Learning To Fall", "I Don't Believe In Yesterday" and "Lifeline", newer songs "The Smile Of A Worried Man", "Our Last Chance", "Better Man" and "You Can Tell Me Anything", plus a couple of newbies. First single is tentatively scheduled for early June. Studio personnel features newly namechecked Phil Parlapiano on keys, accordion and mandolin, Don Heffington on drums, Taras Prodaniuk and Rafe Bradford on bass, and Greg Leisz and Doug Pettibone on guitars. Click the links to see their stellar credits. You'll swoon too. We're shooting for a late spring album release, so watch this space for announcements of street dates and special promotions. |
